Abstract: Objective To study mainly influencing factors about case-finding of smear-positive pulmonary tuberculosis in Ningxia and to enhance the case-finding lever.Methods The registration report of 6 cities has been analyzed.The condition of transferring about the smear-positive cases in 1999,2000 and 2001 have been investigated. At the same time, the information about pulmonary tuberculosis prevents and cure through questionnaire year has been analyzed.Results The registration rate of the smear-positive pulmonary tuberculosis was under average lever of World Bank Loan Tuberculosis Control project province in the same term. The registration rate of the smear-positive pulmonary tuberculosis was showed positive correlation with the product of three factors which were the rate of suspect see a doctor, the rate of sputum examination and the rate of smear positive. But it did not show correlation with any one factor among three factors.Conclusion Three factors are mainly influencing factors about the case-finding of the smear-positive pulmonary tuberculosis.If three factors rise together,the finding rate of the smear-positive pulmonary tuberculosis will rise.
