Effect evaluation on tuberculosis control project implemented by Jiangsu  province

Abstract

Abstract: Objective To evaluate the effect on the promoting and strengthening programme of tuberculosis control conducted by Jiangsu province.Method Analyzing the cure rate of new suptum positive cases at the end of treatment with cohort analysis.Results The cure rates at the end of treatment were 93.8% for initially treated cases and 75.8% for retreated cases,the total cure rates was 91.4%.Conclusion The case finding level and cure rate were improved satisfactory by the project has been conducted and will promoting continuously the tuberculosis control work in Jiangsu.
