Abstract: Objective To study the application of ultrasond in the diagnosis of renal tuberculosis.Methods38 cases of renal tuberculosis were collected in our hospital and diagnosed by Aloka SSD-256 and THSHIBA SAL-38B ultrasound diagnostic apparatus.Among these case,23 were proved by surgery and pathology,9 were proved by X ray intravenous urography,6 were proved by the finding of acid fast bacillus in urine.Results The diagnostic accordance rate of the ultrasound is 86.8%,and that of X ray intravenous urography is 23.7%,and that of the positive result of acid fast bacillus in urine is 15.8%.Conclusion For the diagnosis of renal tuberculosis,ultrasound has the advantages of high accordance rate,simplicity,and no trauma.If combined with clinical materials and other examination methods,the diagnostic accordance rate can be improved.
