Abstract: Objective To explore the factors associated with diagnosis and treatment delay for patients with tuberculosis in ShengLi oil-field of China.Methods A structured questionnaire was used to interview 214 tuberculosis patients who have registered in center for tuberculosis control of ShengLi oil administration bureau.Results The time of hospitalization had great importance to influence the delay in tuberculosis diagnosis.Gender,location of employee and family,institution of diagnosis had great importance to influence the delay in tuberculosis treatment.Conclusions General measures from both aspects of patient and health care facilities should be taken to reduce delay in tuberculosis diagnosis and treatment.
