Clinical observation on the role of spirulina in antituberculous agent induced hepatic damage

Abstract: Objective To observe and decrease the anti-tuberculosis drug’s side effect on the liver.Methods Using spirin and antituberculous drug.three spirin capsules three times a day.Results At the end of 6 months,spirin therapy group’s side effect(on the liver)rate was 2.4% and the control group was 15.5%,the difference was obvious(P<0.01 ).Spirin has no side effect.Conclusion Anti-tuberculous drug’s side effect on the liver can be reduced allied with spirin.It is worthy of further exploration.
