Abstract: Objective To evaluate TB surveillance of Yin county.Methods To implement TB surveillance according to National Tuberculsosis Program.Results The rates of new registration and new cases registration of smear patients were increased year and year,from 39.39/100000 and 12.61/100000 to 43.79/100000 and 16.11/100000,the new cases negqative sputum conversion rate was 94.8%,the cure rate was 92.5%.By the end of 1998,the ratio of new cases registration of smear patiens and new cases registration(P/I) was 0.48.The mortality was 0.14/100000,putting in order the 18 of all diseases.Conclusion As Strengthening and Promoting TB Control Project was implemented in our county,the finding of infectious cases and the cure rate were improved year by year,the infectious sources were effectually control.But how to improved the clinical consultation rate was vital matter of immediate urgency for us.
