Experimental study on coronary artery lesion in rabbit with acute tuberculous infection

Abstract: Objective To observe the coronary artery lesion that is led by Mycobacterium tuberculosis.Method Japanese rabbit were research infection animals.H 37 Rv was the research bacterium strain.One group rabbits were injected tuberculous solution,after Co60 damaging immune system function,another group rabbite were directly injected tuberculous solution.We observed the lesions of heart,specially the coronary artery by pathological method,including ZN dyeing,HE dyeing,three colour dyeig(MCT),BCG immunehistochemisty dyeing and electron microscope examination.Result The result show that Mycobacterium tuberculosis can to any place of heart by blood and form lesion.Severe damage was found in coronary artery.Immunization suppression rabbits will be resulted in susceptility to Mycobacterium tuberculosis and cause severe lesions.Conclusion Mycobacterium tuberculosis can cause the lesion of coronary artery.
