Abstract: Objective To provide an objective basis for tuberculosis(TB) treatment costs fully bringning into the new rural cooperative medical system(NCMS),Methods Applyed the census methods,and investigated the situation of all counties(districts) of TB treatment costs in the new rural cooperative.Results In 2009,the NCMS' coverage rate was 93.5%(2488/2662).With 96.6% of the counties(districts) 'NCMS compensated the TB hospital medical expenses,only 45.3% for out-patient clinics and in which about 70% of the counties...
