Abstract: Objective To analyze the treatment effect of smear-positive cases wiht pulmonary tuberculosis.Methods smear-positive pulmonary tuberculosis were treated with the short-course chemotherapy regimens,and were confirmed the effectiveness after finishing the treatment. Results The cured rate of 728 cases initial treatment of smear-positive pulmonary tuberculosis was 97.7%,and the cured rate of 159 cases retreatment of smear-positive pulmonary tuberculosis was 90.6%. Conclusion In order to improve the effectiveness of the chemotherapy, optimum chemotherapy regimens must be adopted and DOTS must be implemented.
