Abstract: Objective To analyze the features of MRI and CT of tuberculosis meningitis and compare the value of the diagnosis of meningitis with MRI and CT.Methods MRI and CT were formed on 42 patients with tuberculosis meningitis. There were 22 men and 20 women, the age ranging from 16 to 45 year old (mean 25 year). All patients were diagnosed clinically. In pre contrast MRI examination,SE T1,T2 weighted images was chose.Post contrast MRI examination was performed using the same SE T1 sequence as the per contrast MRI imaging .CT was performed with plain scans and contrast-enhanced scans. Results Compared with CT, MRI can revel early abnormality of tuberculosis meningitis and display enshrouded places where abnormal signs cannot be viewed distinctly in CT. MRI also can reliably evaluate prognosis and effect treat. Conclusion Compared with CT,MRI can improve diagnostic accuracy of the tuberculosis meningitis and evaluate exactly curative effect.
