Clinical research of cortiadrenal function in patients with multi-drug resistant pulmonary tuberculosis

Abstract: Objective To study the change of cortiadrenal function in patient with multi-drug resistant pulmonary tuberculosis.Methods The serum cortisols of 56 patients with multi-drug resistant pulmonary tuberculosis were measured by radiation immunity analysis (RIA),and compared with that of the group of non-drug resistant pulmonary tuberculosis and the normal control group.Results The serum cortisol level of the studied group was significantly higher than the others,there were 842±168(8AM) and 624±62(4PM) positive.Conclusion The cortiadrenal function of the studied group was stronger obviously than normal,but the rhythm of their cortisol excretion was normal.
