Abstract: Objective To evaluate the diagnostic value of tuberculin protein polypeptide (TPP) and microwaves irradiation in detective of active tuberculosis. Methods Tuberculin protein polypeptide was drawed from culture medum of M.Tuberculosis H37 Rv,was used microwaves-enzyme linked immunosorbent assay,to determine the titer of serum antibody against TPP in active tuberculosis. Results It was found that the tests were positive(≥1:80)in 114 of 126 active tuberculosis cases and in 10 of 76 healthy individuals. The sensitivity was 90.4% and the specificity was 86.8%.Besides,compared with the conventional-enzyme linked immunosorbent assay, the consumptive time of microwaves-enzyme linked immunosorbent assay was reduced considerably, but gain a consistent conclusion. Conclusion The antigen of TPP was proved to be better in sensitivity and specificity.Microwaves-enzyme linked immunosorbent assay can substitute conventional-enzyme linked immunosorbent assay.
