Abstract

Abstract: Objective To explore the value of FQ-PCR in the diagnosis of active osteoarticular tuberculosis and urinary tuberculosis.Methods One hundred and eighteen cases with suspected tuberculosis including 52 arthritis and 66 urinary tract infection were collected to detect TB-DNA using FQ-PCR and mycobacteria using acid-fast staining from joint effusion and urine versus detection rate of acid fast staining.Results Thirty-six of 52 cases with arthritis were diagnosed with tuberculosis.Among 36 cases,22 cases with p...
