Abstract: Objective To explore the causes of circular lump produced after the treatment of tuberculous pleural effusion (TPE).Methods The discovering time,localities of lump and curative effect were analysed retrospectively in 33 cases of TPE.Results The lumps were circular or oval,closing the sick side of the chest,mostly produced in the intensire stage of chematherapy and disappeared while the chemocherapy continusly.Conclusion The cause of the forming of circular lump may be allergic reaction in the treatment of tuberculosis.
