Abstract: Objective To investigate the available Methods of differentiate pulmonary tuberculosis from lung tumor,the change of the number of sputum macrophage was determined by using tuberculin test.Methods Tuberculin was injected into subcutis.Sputum was collected before and after the injection.The changes of the sputum macrophage number were measured.Results Before the tuberculin test the average PPD diameter was no significant difference between pulmonary tuberculosis and lung tumor (P＞0.05) .After the test the number of sputum macrophage was obviously increased in pulmonary tuberculosis (P＜0.05).Conclusion Determining the changes in number of sputum macrophage using tuberculin test was available method for differentiating pulmonary tuberculosis from lung tumor.
