Abstract: Objective To explore the role in diagnosis and pathogenesis of tuberculosis of nucleolar organizer regions (NORs) associated proteins (Ag-NORs) by which studies the quantity of Ag-NORs was obtained and the function of T lymphocytes was indirectly reflected.Methods 77 cases with pulmonary tuberculosis,32 cases with tumor and 41 controls individuals were analyzed with a KL Imaging System.Results I.S% of patients with tuberculosis (n=77) and with tumor (n=32) was significantly different with that of the normal control (n=41),P＜0.001,while the difference was not found between I.S% of patients with tuberculosis and with tumor (P＞0.05).Conclusion The expression activity assay of Ag-NORs can be used to determine the immune function and evaluate prognosis of patients with pulmonary tuberculosis.
