Analysis on the impact of tuberculosis to human life

Abstract: Objective To study the impact of tuberculosis to human life.Methods The data from the database of retrospective research on the reasons of habitants’ death was used and the abridged life table was applied for calculation life expectancy of pulmonary TB.The PYLL,PYLL rate and standardized PYLL rate were calculated range from 1 year to 70 years old.Results (1)The sex ratio of TB mortality rate is 2.43∶1 (male 0.17‰,female 0.07‰).And male mortality rate was more higher than that of female mortality.(2)The TB mortality rate in 70~74 years old classfication was the highest.And the peak of absolute death number was in 55~79 years old group.(3)Life expectancy of TB death causes elimination was 0.25 year (male 0.32,female 0.16).(4)Complete death causes PYLL is 1282858,TB PYLL was 1.14‰ (male 1.41‰,female 0.85‰).Conclusion The impact of tuberculosis to life expectancy and life lost was very small.Although it isn’t the main reason of “premature mortality” now.It is still one of the important disease of the important disease of harming human life.The efforts on tuberculosis control should be strengthened further.
