Laboratory examination and quality control of Mycobacterium

Abstract

Abstract: The prevalence of tuberculosis has been rising in China, and therefore bacteriologic studies of mycobacteria become the major means of the epidemiological research as well as clinical diagnosis of tuberculosis. This article is focus on how to improve diagnostic accuracy and tests quality control in a clinical laboratory.Retrospective study on both mycobacteria epidemiological process and its clinical diagnosis in the Guangzhou Chest Hospital, in order to provide some information in this field. Laid some technical foundation of TB epidemiological investigation and its diagnosis and treatment.
