Abstract: Objective To explore the mechanical ventilation tactics in treatment of tuberculous respiratory failure.Methods The lung-protective mechanical ventilation was given to 52 cases of tuberculous respiratory failure,to observe the therapeutic effect and complication.Results Forty nine cases of respiratory failure were cured without apparent complication,three cases died.Cure rate was 94.2%.Conclusion Lung-protective mechanical ventilation is safe.The curative effect is dramatic.
