Abstract: Objective To reflect the current situation of tuberculsis control in Hechi district.Methods To analyse the annual report report of tuberculosis epidemic and tuberculosis registration during 1996～1998 in Hechi district.Results The number of tuberculosis cases discovered in every year were only 10% of the estimated number of tuberculosis cases.The new cases registration rate,registration rate of smear positive pulmonary tuberculosis,sputum examination rate were 20/10⁵,0.7/10⁵ and 15% respectively.The cure rate of smear positive patients was very low.Conclusion Antituberculosis organs are not perfect,poorly financed,fail in convergence cse management are main causes which influence the effectiveness of tuberculosis control in Hechi district.
