Abstract: Objective To explore the factors related to the Results of retreatment smear-positive pulmonary tuberculosis cases and establish predictive model. Methods Retrospectively analyze the chemotheraputic Results of 962 retreatment smear-positive pulmonary tuberculosis cases through Logistic Regression Analysis. Results The model can be established based on the five factors which affect the Results significantly(P<0.05): the result of sputum smear test after two months of treatment, hemoptysis or bloody sputum, chemotherapy regimens, category of patient, extent of disease on radiograph. Conclusion The predictive model will be helpful to detect the potential failure cases more timely and provide new idea for MDR-TB control.
