Investigation of the second-line anti-TB drugs usage in specialist hospitals and tuberculosis control institutions

Abstract

Abstract: Objective To understand the use of second-line anti-TB drugs in TB specialist hospitals and tuberculosis control institutions.Methods Five provinces were selected in China as research sites.The patient medical records were randomly selected for investigation,corresponding key persons were interviewed.Results The proportion of second-line anti-TB drug use in patients has already reached 56.3%.There are a variety of second line drugs.Among which,Levofloxacin in two institutions is the mostly used,respectively...
