• The Chinese Journal of Antituberculosis and the Journal of Tuberculosis and Lung Diseases held a symposium in Kunming

  On July 8, 2021, the Editorial Committee of the Chinese Journal of Antituberculosis and the Journal of Tuberculosis and Lung Diseases was held in Kunming, Yunnan Province. The editorial board members and guests attending the symposium included Wang Lixia, chief editor, Fan Lin, deputy chief editor, Zha Shun, communication editorial board members Baofukai, Wang Qiqi and Wang Yanchun; Li Mingwu, member of the second editorial board of the Journal of Tuberculosis and Lung Disease, and He Jing and Lu Nihong, members of the communication editorial board; Special guest Li Ling, Yunnan Provincial Infectious Diseases Hospital. Fan Yongde, the office director of the periodical office of the Publishing House of the Chinese Journal of Antituberculosis, the editorial director of the Journal of Tuberculosis and Lung Diseases, and Li Jingwen, the editorial director of the Chinese Journal of Antituberculosis, attended the meeting.

   

  At the same time, the editorial board members at the meeting were introduced to the work of the journal office. Fan Yongde, the editorial director of the Journal of Tuberculosis and Lung Disease, and Li Jingwen, the editorial director of the Chinese Journal of Antituberculosis, respectively introduced the specific situation of the work of each journal and the problems faced by the current work of the journal to the editorial board. During the discussion, the editorial board members participating in the meeting expressed their own opinions, talked freely about their cognition and feelings about the journal work, and put forward many pertinent and instructive opinions and suggestions. The editorial board members participating in the meeting made clear that they would do their best to help the development of the journal.

   

  During this meeting, a special review meeting of scientific and technological papers was held, inviting the three authors who submitted the review papers to conduct face-to-face guidance and exchange with the editorial board of the journal. The review meeting was led by Wang Lixia, the chief editor of the Chinese Journal of Antituberculosis, and Professor Fan Lin, the deputy chief editor, as the leader of the review meeting, leading all the editorial board members and guests present at the meeting to jointly comment on the papers. On the one hand, the convening of the review meeting enabled the editorial board members and authors to understand the journal manuscript processing process and review points, and on the other hand, it also improved the authors' level of writing scientific papers, which won unanimous praise from the editorial board members, guests and authors attending the meeting.

   

  Vice President Wang Lixia proposed in the meeting summary that the periodical office would systematically sort out the opinions and suggestions put forward by the editorial board members attending the meeting, and actively summarize, absorb and implement them; At the same time, it is emphasized that the journal office will adhere to the way of "going out" to run the journal and face-to-face communication with the editorial board, further promote and publicize the concept of running the journal, and enhance the cohesion of the editorial board team.
